I was looking for a new pair of shoes and I suppose considering what I was looking for, I should have expected what i got.Buying shoes are like picking out a mate. Rather than saying you are interested in a sense of humor you should just admit its about looks. And the same goes with shoes. It's not about comfort, its about the price.
I wanted something that would be comfy and look nice to wear daily or something I could wear to job interviews.
I walked by a Re-Soul in Ballard one evening after hours (the break of 7:50pm) and looked through the glass. The store was locked up, and had been since 6pm. Strange hours for a retail store in downtown Ballard.
When I managed to reconfigure my schedule to take a peak at a pair of shoes that I had liked through the window, I was unplesantly surprised. (I had already looked online and conveniently, there were no prices of course). The leather slip-ons I liked were selling for $399.00. The store was deserted, as it well should be. As for the sales girl, who never bothered so much as to look up at me, was reading a copy of Crazy magazine. How fitting.

399.99 is a crazy price for a pair of sandals, 39.99 sounds a little more logical. I'll make sure to never shop there.
