I'll probably never go to Noah's bagels again. I've been there about 10 times or so and every single time that I didn't get anything more than coffee (9 of 10 visits) the person at the counter acts like I just threw hot coffee in their face. I understand they are probably trained to upsell, and that coffee is a means to get you in the door so you buy pumpkin rolls, and danishes, and fruit cups and donuts or bagels or bagel sandwiches, but man, I've gotten some looks. I am still a paying customer and I usually leave the change as a tip and still no avail. So unless you want to drop your kids college fund, give your money to Starbucks. Yeah, I said it.
