I went to the N9ne steakhouse my first night visiting Dallas last week for my boyfriend's birthday. Having visited many high-end steakhouses in my day I was impressed by the food, service and decor. For an appetizer we all shared the seafood platter, which came as a two-story tower of pizza sized platters filled with ice and seafood. There were massive shrimp, oysters, lobster, crab, mussels and clams and there was more than enough for 6 of us. Being the seafood addict that I am I gorged myself on everything that once swam and choose a seafood entree as well.
The halibut topped with lobster was fantastic. They didn't skimp at all on the lobster and the fish was all on steamed spinach cooked just right. I had a bit of my boyfriend's fillet and melted. I was a vegetarian for years and still eat very little meat. I wished I had ordered a steak.
For dessert, without the usual hesitation of Seattle servers, the server brought out a huge platter that had 'Happy Birthday Dustin' written in frosting with full servings of their flourless chocolate cake, creme brulee and a marshmallow roasting station, equipped with chocolate covered graham crackers, roasting sticks and a little fire to cook on.
The entire experience was great. Our server was very attentive and constantly, (but not annoyingly), making sure we had everything we needed. If you are in Dallas, Chicago or Las Vegas and need a nice meal I would highly recommend them.

Sounds good, which is surprising. In my experience, nothing good comes from Dallas. If I ever venture back there (not likely), I will definitely try out the N9ne Steakhouse.
