This last weekend I attended a special showing of the Warren Miller '09 movie at the Meydenbauer cenvention center.

Attempting to find the cheapest most convenient parking, we parked across the street. The parking lot was unmarked and there no signs indicating that we could not park there for free. The movie only last about two and half hours so we figured we would be out of there quick anyway.

After the movie, (which was awesome), we were surprised to find a ticket on our car. A whole $48 bucks charge for our parking naively in apparently the wrong place. Oops! Seriously, most places downtown Bellevue give you free parking on Saturdays. It wasn't like there was a huge crowd or anything really what did it hurt with us parking there? The sad thing is two other cars in our group were ticketed with the same fault. It really ruined the whole Meydenbauer experience... I blame it on them for not providing better parking for their events.
