Linda's in Capitol Hill offers the perfect experience for those who want to linger. Suppose you have a work meeting--or say, something a little less conventional and more progressive like a sewing club, but you want a drink while you assemble that Christmas gift--Linda's is the place to do it.The wings are rather tasty and remind me of back east where wings joints are like coffee shops in Seattle. The french fries can be a little flat, tasting and in form but rye bread grilled cheeses are quite palatable!
There is a large buffalo head that looms above the bar where the tattooed bartendresses ask what you want.
The knitting group next to us seemed pleased with their mixed drinks. And the rather behaved punks in the back had no complaints with the service either.
The happy hour is great and stretches from, get this, 7pm - 9pm on all weekdays. Amazing.
