About every couple days, I go down to Hoffman's to pick up one of their delicious blueberry muffins. Unfortunately, due to the increases in food and transportation prices, Hoffman's has had to raise their prices. The blueberry muffin I bought yesterday for $1.45 was $1.65 today. I usually scrape my change cup before leaving for work for 6 quarters to buy a muffin. Thus only $1.50 in my pocket. The owner happened to be working today and was who helped me at the register. She packaged the tasty muffin and then rang me up for $1.65. I asked if muffins had gone up in price and she responded that they had, starting today, due to inflation on food stuffs. Seeing I only had $1.50, she said not to worry about it and gave me the usual price. Granted its only 20 cents and she wasn't taking a big hit on it, that little bit of kindness really impressed me. I wasn't carrying any other money and would have missed out on my muffin otherwise. Thanks Hoffman's, for not only the delicious food, but for the way in which you serve it and treat your customers.Pictured below is the tantalizing blueberry muffin. I barely had time to take a picture before my will power gave in and I devoured it.
