Supporting Evidence
Yesterday I went to Fred Meyers to pick up a fishing license. I am not particularly into fishing but the man in my life is, so the license became necessary. I have gone to the Fred Meyers in Kirkland many times but I have never had to go to their Customer Service booth, so this was a first.I waited about 15 minutes for the 3 people in front of me to be helped by the 5 different employees that went in and out of the counter. One would finish up helping someone then walk away, rather than asking for the next in line. I was a little ticked by that but figured at least there was one less person in front of me.
So at last it was my turn! I explained to the 90 year old what I needed and she slowly told me that it would be a few minutes because the machine for the licenses was in use. I stepped to the side and watched another 4 people get helped before I stepped in to check and see if the machine was open yet, as it looked as though it had been for the last 3 people.
It was and after about 20 minutes the obviously computer savvy elderly woman was able to get all my information into the system and print the license.
When I told my boyfriend about the ordeal he told me there are machines at Wal-Mart that take about 5 minutes. I just about screamed.
If you need a fishing license, or anything else from customer service at Fred Meyer save yourself some time and just go elsewhere!

Jason Says:
Those little customer service booths at Freddies are jokes. They always stick the most unfriendly, unhelpful people on the staff in there.
