Supporting Evidence

I ate at the fabulous Dutch Mothers Restaurant in Lynden, WA yesterday. The restaurant has a very small town inviting feel with great decor. The staff are friendly and appear to enjoy working at Mothers. I ordered a pannekoeken with almonds cooked into it and fresh local raspberries and whipped cream on top. It was fantastic. I then followed the meal with a slice of delicious bumbleberry pie, all berries grown locally, and ice cream. I highly recommend this restaurant. Lynden is an hour and a half or so north of Everett and is a small Dutch influenced town. A very pleasant setting to spend a day. And well worth a visit just to eat at Dutch Mothers.

Sounds good, but what is Dutch cuisine? Sausages seem too German, I do not think I have had Dutch food before, huh.

That's great they use local produce in their food, fruit tastes better when it hasn't been trucked thousands of miles.
