I was at a dueling piano bar the other night with my boyfriend and some of his family when we met David Gabriel, a magician that was friends with people next to us. He was doing these great card tricks for everyone, working his way around the room. Once he got to us I was excited to see what he could do, but skeptical because I don't exactly believe in the magical realm. He started with my boyfriend first who had been drinking whiskey since dinner, so after he was amazed I was unconvinced. Then he let Trina my boyfriend's sister pick a card. She showed it to all of us and put it back in deck. He shuffled the deck a couple times and I watched his hands very carefully. Suddenly he set down the deck, unzipped his fly and pulled the card she had picked out of his pants.
Once it was my turn I was pretty much sold at that point that he was good. He let me pick a card, show it to everyone and put it back in the deck. He then took a couple card out of the deck and asked it they were my card. They weren't but he still stuck one of the in between my hands. I had no idea where he was going when he tapped on my clasped hands and told me to look at the card. It was my card and I was amazed!
He sat down and talked to us for a bit and I found out that he work private parties mostly so I figured I should give him props on here because he was really cool. He works all over the country and can be reached at B_dodd@yahoo.com.
