Supporting Evidence

At the behest of a co-worker that shall remain nameless, I finally went to my first Sushi restaurant in Seattle the other night and must say that I was plesantly suprised.

My girlfriend and I shared a Salmon roll that was actually pretty good, I never thought that I would have liked uncooked salmon as it took a few years to warm up to the seared version. I've had sushi before, but this place seemed to know their ambience and took great care of amateurs.

They also have a great number of dishes that cater to the non-sushi lover as well. My sister likes sushi, but wanted a little mix of dishes she could try as it was a place we had never been to before. She tried some chicken skewers that were simply amazing, as the meat was so tender it was falling off the stick. She also tried some steamed snap peas, which you ate similiarly to sunflower seeds having to shell them before you eat the sweet peas inside.

They also have a seared salmon dish that was sent back by a friend twice because it wasn't cooked enough. It's a sushi restuarant man!

They also have a nice selection of Japanese beers on tap as well as a local miscrobrew, Laughing Buddha, that is basically ginger beer and is delightful, refreshing, and not too strong on the ginger.

You couple the service with the prices and the overall flavor and you have a healthy meal that can't be beat. Maybe my co-worker was right.
