Supporting Evidence

About eight months ago I was so fet up with Verizon that I abandoned ship completely. To avoid service charges, I waited patiently for my contract expiration date to arrive with as much anticipation as Christmas Day.

Finally the day arrived and I went to get a new phone plan the next day. I decided on a maroon BlackBerry smartphone. The clerk insisted that I would love it, and that I wouldn't want to ever have another kind of phone. I think she overshot her goal a little bit.

It's fine, and now, I'm used to its awkward size and bizarre dimensions, but never would I say its the only other phone I'll ever have.

I'm up and down. Sometimes I like how there are places to store notes and reminders, and sometimes I hate that the pictures often come out blurry unless its the exact right light. I don't like how sometimes it randomly calls friends, until I learned of the keypad lock feature.

It is durable though, I've dropped it dozens of times and the glass/plastic screen does seem inpenetrable. I really also like the maroon color and the wide screen and ability to see everything. When I first got it, I was lost for a while. But I like trying new things all the time. It keeps life interesting. Now I feel naked without it. And when one of my friends asks to borrow it for a minute for something, they end up looking at me and saying, "Is this a phone?"

Blackberry makes a dependable device that is hands-down the easiest device for handling email. The full QWERTY board is great as we are seeing from all of the more recent phones that are going to that style keypad.
