Last night for our girl’s night in Kirkland, after a long stint at the Wilde we ended up at Time Out to meet up with more people. On our way out the bouncer asked if we were driving. I almost always take a cab ride home from the bars because it is only $8 with tip. When I told him I was going to take a cab he told me to wait a minute and gave me some paper to give to the driver. Turns out the paper was a voucher for the cab ride! Because the bar has had so leave drunk and get pulled over Time Out has to pay half of their cab rider’s fare and the City of Kirkland pays the rest. My suggestion: if you’re partying in Kirkland, avoid Time Out until the end of the night; get your last drink there and a free cab ride home. It is a great incentive to not drink and drive, and you save a few bucks!Photo Evidence
