Supporting Evidence

Last night for our girl’s night in Kirkland, after a long stint at the Wilde we ended up at Time Out to meet up with more people. On our way out the bouncer asked if we were driving. I almost always take a cab ride home from the bars because it is only $8 with tip. When I told him I was going to take a cab he told me to wait a minute and gave me some paper to give to the driver. Turns out the paper was a voucher for the cab ride! Because the bar has had so leave drunk and get pulled over Time Out has to pay half of their cab rider’s fare and the City of Kirkland pays the rest. My suggestion: if you’re partying in Kirkland, avoid Time Out until the end of the night; get your last drink there and a free cab ride home. It is a great incentive to not drink and drive, and you save a few bucks!

Is completing the court ordered penalties for not limiting drunk customers' drinks something we should applaud? Should we give props to convicts for going to prison?

not really, but this is the most reasonable choice. its like right wingers saying that abstinence is the best policy to push for teen pregnancy. lets wake up and start living in 2008.

Birdbrain, what the heck are you talking about? Pull your head out of your shell and realize that it being 2008 has nothing to do with anything. Has right and wrong changed? Has supporting companies with good practices changed? And on the tangent you pulled out of left field, has teen sexual activity become any safer, or birth control become that much more effective, that abstinence is no longer the best answer? As for right wingers, I like them just as much as left wingers, served to me with buffalo sauce and some celery.

Lol, thats some seriousness. I've found abstinence has worked for most the teenagers I knew and know like a corkscrew at a beerfest...not even on the radar as an option.
