I am an avid baseball fan and former player and I can't understand how the Seattle Mariners could screw this season up so bad. They have every opportunity this year to grab some of the down and out Sonics fans but no they one up them with having the worst reacord in the league not the second worst record (i.e. The Sonics). They finish 14 games over 500 last year and bring in a good pitcher who has been marginal at best this year. They need to fire Bill Bavasi and get some guys that can swing the bat. They are counting on a average nucleous of hitters (and one horable one in Richie Sexson). The worst part about it is the beer prices go up when they suck. So the only benefit is if it's one of Seattle's 20 sunny days the center field area has hot chicks. Furthermore this nintendo ownership group is spending all kinds of money for a competitive product on the field and they aren't delivering and yet they traded away almost all of they're young talent in the minors for this miserable display we have to subject ourselves too. FIRE BAVASI!!!! Look at the idiot in the picture below.Photo Evidence
