I was not surprised to see there have already been cases reported on these guys and even at two different company names! Either way, when I bought my Mac nearly four years ago, (which has performed without fail) I was given a FREE Hewlett Packard printer with my purchase. I couldn't believe it. And I still can't. With the problems I've had, I almost want to drive back to Boston, take the printer, and toss it through the plate glass store front of the Apple Store. There are too many rediculous incidents to report, but my favorite is that it turns on, prints a sheet of "printer test sheets" in the middle of the night and scares the crap out of me. It used to happen about once a week until I unplugged and shelved it.
