American Crude, don't bother seeing it!

Please do not bother seeing this movie. I rarely get to watch grown-up movies because I have a young child. So on my one night off to watch anything but Shrek my boyfriend and I made the mistake of renting American Crude.

From the cover it looked like an all-right movie. Ron Livingston is the main character, (he's the guy from Office Space), and there's also Rob Schneider, and John McGinley the mean doctor from Scrubs; so we figured the movie would be hilarious. It was not, in fact the only thing that comes to mind is crude.

All of the characters are completely unlikable. The main character cheats on his wife with his best friend’s wife and his wife also cheats with his best friend’s wife, but all separately and behind each others backs. He gets a hooker for his friend who is too drunk to say no at his bachelor party, only so he can try to frame him and get his friends wife to leave him. The hooker then turns out to be a tranny that turns tricks when he’s not stripping. Interlaced into all this garbage is the story of a woman who escaped prison and is out to kill the dudes that raped her as a child and left her in a dumpster to a life of prostitution. If you haven’t gotten to offended and quit reading by now, I may as well tell you about the main characters father, who takes young girls, drugs them and then sells them into prostitution all under his paralyzed wife’s nose, (who by the by is paralyzed because he pushed her down the stairs when she tried to divorce him).

Trust me that may have seemed like I ruined the movie for you but trust me, I didn't. There is about another hour and a half of lewd pointless storyline that continues where I left off. Please do not bother seeing this movie; it was a 2 hour waste of my life. Also, if you have children make sure they are sounds asleep before you turn this movie on there were a lot of loud noises that had me on the volume control all night.
