Airtran's a super cheap airline. I don't know where they cut their costs, but I've never been on a flight that's been overbooked or had any other issues with them. Fingers crossed - I've flown round trip with them on 4 separate occasions so far. I hope they keep it up, they're a not-so-bad type company in an industry of some of the worst.

I used Airtran in Europe a lot when I was there. I really liked it, it was great for a college student traveling the world. Not exactly family or business friendly though. Basically its the drunk bus for 20 somethings 30,000 feet up.
