21 Central is the best steakhouse in Kirkland, arguably the eastside, and possibly in the greater Seattle area. It's a more expensive restaurant, but you get so much in return.Dim lighting, candles at every table, with comfortable chairs and booths. You can sit at the bar to watch the game, sit on central way side and watch people try and parallel park, or sit on the lake side for a view.
The menu has wide variety of food with a wine selection to compliment any meal. Their specialty being steaks. Any of the steaks from Filet Mignon to the porterhouse so tender you can cut with a fork. Not in the mood for red meat? Try the chicken, lamb, lobster, or fish. The starters (with some cocktails) are a meal in themselves.
It's not that big but that's what makes it so nice. It allows the staff to take care of the guest and provide impeccable service. If you're there 1-2 times a month and you'll be on first name basis with not only the staff but the regulars as well (myself include). It's like Cheers. Whatever the occasion this place has it all.
